hamburger kebabs, cumin fried potatoes and wilted spinach with ginger. we went back to the archives for this meal - the kebabs burgers and the potatoes are tried and true favorites. my choice for something green was the spinach, not the best but all that fresh ginger was great. we made a yogurt cilantro milt sauce to go with the meal, along with that no-knead bread i already posted about.
the main eats came from Madhur Jaffrey's "Quick and Easy Indian Cooking."
I had the Madhur Jaffrey Indian Cookbookout, ready to cook a great meal with a glass of shiraz in one hand. I like how the candle can be seen so clearly through the wine glass. The Rice with Peas and Dill was fantastic, by the way.
